Before you say a word, your facial expression will confer the tone and sentiment of what you are about to utter. And when you are not saying anything, the lines and wrinkles of your face speak of your inner mood, feelings and emotions.
Vertical lines in the face, such as those between the brows known as Frown Lines, or between the corners of the nose and mouth, convey negative emotions such as depression, fatigue, anger, disappointment and envy.
Horizontal lines across the brow and on the forehead, or radiating lines from the corners of the eye, known as Crow's Feet, are considered masculinizing features, and not very pleasant for women.
Increasing facial wrinkles give an impression of age and weakness.
Today, we live longer and remain physically healthier. "Society does not welcome a tired and aged appearance"
Beauty reflects grace and charm. People today do not feel guilty about improving their personal appearance as they maintain a positive attitude towards their mental and physical wellbeing.
What does Botox® do?
Botulinum toxin A, commercially known as Botox®, reduces the activity of the muscles that cause skin wrinkles. A few tiny injections take no more than 10 to 15 minutes, and within a few days noticeable improvement is seen in those persistent frown lines between the brows or across the forehead. The effect of the treatment lasts up to four months.
This is a simple, non-surgical, physician administered treatment, approved by the Food and Drug administration (FDA), for people from 18 to 65 years of age.
